blank expression are a collaboration of five individuals bringing out their passion through heavy, hard hitting and powerful music. blending beautiful melodies, hard rock, metal and hardcore into one form, blank expression are an established heavy rock band from bendigo, central victoria. kane [vocals], justin [guitar], andy [drums], james [bass & keyboards] and joel [synth & keyboards] started in mid 2001 as school friends, but never anticipated such success. at the time, inspired by bands such as - korn, rammstein, disturbed, machine head and rage against the machine – they played live shows fortnightly for over a year and built their way up to a high level whilst excelling in every sense of the industry on the way. |

after creating a strong, loyal fan base and a wealth of tracks to
their name, they decided to release their first self titled EP which
sold over 100 copies within the first three months of its birth.
in addition to this, blank expression also featured alongside another
eight of central victoria’s finest bands on the 2002 compilation
‘bendigo bands BRIT CD #5’: “Detonate”,
with their tracks 'vessel' [11] and 'cloud' [17]. as one of the
youngest bands to appear on the CD, the band then matured over the
next year to once again be selected to represent the music scene
on the 2003 compilation CD “Soundscope”. their tracks
‘shot boy’ [04] and ‘institution for infirm [13]
are showcased on the CD as some of the more intensifying tracks. |

now, influenced by artists like - faith no more, marilyn manson, killswitch
engage, american head charge, muse, rammstein and sevendust - the
band are concentrating on creating an affluence of new material to
